Athens' Own Internship Opportunities

All of our internships are hands-on and require a great deal of self motivation. In addition to an excellent learning experience, interns are given a great deal of creative involvement in both determining the course of their internship as well as the future of Athens' Own. We are currently seeking un-paid interns in communications and business. Internship Opportunities - Business:

Business Communication

Business communication interns are responsible for creating and maintaining structural communication between members of Athens' Own, our various clients and other network participants. Interns must be highly motivated and work well with others. There is currently no business communication intern available for contact.

Business Planning

Business planning interns are responsible for working with Constantine Faller to create a viable business plan that focuses on long-term stability and sustainability in the Athens community. Planning interns must be able to think outside the box to be part of this monumental shift in the concept of business. Interns must be highly motivated and work well with others. There is currently no business planning intern available for contact.

Internship Opportunities - Communication:

Advertising

Advertising interns will be responsible for creating effective ads for Athens' Own and our various clients. Ad interns must be highly motivated and creative. These ads will primarily be created in digital form for use on the Web. We typically do not utilize print or broadcast media that require payment for ad time or space. There is currently no advertising intern available for contact.

Graphic Design

Graphic design interns are responsible for creating eye-catching graphics for Athens' Own and our clients. These graphics will be used on our Website, in our newsletter, and in various printed publications. We are seeking creative, talented individuals who can work with little direction. Graphics interns will be working closely with Web design interns, as well as those involved with creating printed materials. There is currently no graphics intern available for contact.

Public Relations

Public relations interns are responsible for keeping Athens’ Own in the public eye for the wonderful things we are doing. Intern will write and distribute news releases about upcoming events; research, interview and create press packs for our various clients; post written pieces for our Website; update our newsletter; provide consultations, and much more.

Marketing

Marketing interns will be responsible for creating marketing strategies for Athens’ Own and our various clients. Interns will research local outlets to find vendors to carry products from hand-poured 100% beeswax candles, to aged beef. Interns must be self motivated and willing to work with little direction. There is currently no marketing intern available for contact.

Web Design

Web design interns are responsible for updating and maintaining our Website. Proficiency in HTML coding is a must, as this is our current format. Web interns might also be tasked out to our various clients to help with their Web needs. Additionally, Web interns will work closely with graphics interns and those who create text to be posted online.
